History and Description

John Arndt took over as president of the company in 1989 from his father and mother Gerald and Mary, who had started ithe business in 1967. In 1990 a series of stock purchases started between family members that have today left John as the sole owner and officer. The company, based in Milton WI, distributes propane to residential, commercial and agriculture customers in 35 counties throughout southeastern and north central Wi, along with north central IL. The market area is served from an original service/corporate center office located in Milton, WI. Four additional smaller service centers are located in Kaukauna, WI (opened in 1991), Waupun, WI (opened in 1994), Rochelle, IL (opened in 2004) and Sayner, WI (opened in 2005). In addition, the company operates a distribution center in Harvard, IL. Customers are served through the company fleet of over fifty vehicles and 7,500 tanks that have a combined capacity of over 4,176,000 gallons.
